The file "Bending – k factors" contains averaged values for k factor (ratio of the neutral axis offset and the given sheet/plate metal thickness being bent) that we use to design sheets/plates in Solidworks software.
The file "Example of JTSS documentation" presents correct workpiece drawings attributed for import. The workpieces can be assembled in one file the same way as in the documentation example.
The file "Workpiece attributes – System" contains a listing of workpiece parameters to be used in our software while importing geometry components.
REQUIREMENTS FOR TECHNICAL DOCUMENTATION:
- Format .dxf or .dwg
- Scale of details 1:1
- Contours to be cut in one drawing layer marked with a solid line
- Contours to be engraved in a separate drawing layer marked with a solid line
- Items to be bent in the exploded form (k factors for individual thicknesses available in a downloadable table)
- Bending lines should be marked with a double-dotted line in a separate layer
- For workpieces to be bent please provide us with working drawings with the following extensions: .dxf/.dwg/.pdf
- For mating components we will be pleased to have assembly drawings with the following extensions: .dxf/.dwg/.sldprt
- Specification of manufacturing precision for items (tolerance)
- Attributes provided with text layer inside workpiece contour (any font type and size)
- While placing requests for quotations for large numbers of workpieces please provide us with a list of parts
