Sheet metal straightening is an advanced technological process of plastic forming aimed at eliminating geometric deformations and internal stresses from metal sheets. This procedure is performed using roller straighteners that bend the material in both directions under controlled conditions, resulting in stress relief and flattening. This method produces surfaces with a high degree of flatness and minimal internal stress, which is essential for further precise processes such as laser cutting, bending, or robotic welding.
Application areas:
Machine and equipment manufacturing – ensures proper component fit, tight geometric tolerances, and reduces welding distortions.
Electrochemical and galvanic industries – flat surfaces without waves or bulges are essential for even coating application.
Steel processing and CNC cutting centers – preparing material with proper flatness enables precise and economical cutting, punching, and bending.
Serial production and prefabrication – eliminates assembly problems, increases process repeatability, and enhances final product quality.

Technical scope:
We have equipment that allows for the straightening of sheets and components up to 12 mm thick and 1000 mm wide. Our machines are suitable for processing materials that have been thermally cut, as well as coil and cut-to-size sheet materials.
Materials suitable for straightening include:
- Structural steel (black steel)
- Stainless steel
- Aluminium and its alloys
- Brass and other non-ferrous metals
- Materials cut using plasma, gas, or laser cutting
Adventages of the straightening process:
Geometric accuracy and dimensional stability: Reduction of internal stress and the creation of flat surfaces significantly improve the quality of subsequent operations: welding, bending, assembly, or cutting.
Improved process repeatability: Flat material ensures better performance in automated processes (e.g. welding robots, bending cells), minimizing the risk of production errors.
Reduced material waste: By eliminating deformation, the number of components that fail to meet quality requirements is significantly decreased.
Optimized material flow: Flat sheets greatly facilitate internal logistics, storage, and integration with further processing stages.
